Our Story
Barack Obama Charter School (BOCS) was founded in 2009 as Ingenium Schools’ first school. In 2017, BOCS moved from its original location on Lincoln Elementary, to Vanguard Learning Center, allowing IBOCS to grow and to now serve 440 students in TK through 5th grade. Through its growth, BOCS has been and will always be about providing a high quality education and leadership development to its students as “children of today are the leaders of tomorrow” – Nelson Mandela.
