Barack Obama Charter School (BOCS) Gets a Fresh Look
Our Compton campus, Barack Obama Charter School (BOCS), underwent significant renovations this summer, thanks to the support of the Compton Unified School District. The entire campus received a fresh coat of paint, giving it a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the blacktop was resurfaced, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our students to play and engage in outdoor activities. We can’t wait for our students and staff to experience the transformed space as they return for the new school year.
Curriculum Enhancements Across All Campuses
Our teaching and learning team has been hard at work to ensure that all grade levels and content areas are equipped with the latest and most effective educational materials. Starting in mid-June, the distribution process began at all our campuses to ensure that every classroom is ready for the year ahead. New resources have arrived and are currently being put in place, setting the stage for a successful academic year.
In addition to updating our curriculum, we’ve lined up a series of professional development opportunities for our teachers. These sessions will provide essential training on our new English Language Arts curriculum, starting with the first session on August 7th. We believe that ongoing professional development is key to maintaining the high standards of education at Ingenium Schools.
