serves as the Senior Accountability Researcher for the Achievement and Performance Management Team at the California Charter Schools Association (CCSA). In her role, she supports the development of metrics for the CCSA accountability framework, conducts research on accountability and monitors the accountability landscape at a state and national level for implications for CCSA members. Dr. Abshere’s previous work focused on training educators on classroom management and positive school culture strategies through character education. She holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from USC and a Master’s in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine. Current term to 6/30/2020.
