Q: How do I Enroll My Child?

A: Here’s the process. Or you can start by filling out an interest form online by clicking here.

Q: What if I don’t have access to a computer?
A: We have an Enrollment Department that can absolutely assist you in filling out an interest form! They can walk you through the entire process as well. Give them a call at 866.660.6736 ext 6000.
We also have computers available in each of our school offices for you to complete a lottery form. Visit any of our schools Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM and we would be happy to help you! Click here to see a list of Ingenium schools.
Q: What happens after I submit an interest form?

A: An Enrollment Counselor will reach out to you shortly to get to know you and answer any questions you might have. If you are interested in enrolling, the Enrollment Counselor will walk you through the enrollment process and submit your students application.

Q: What is "Open Enrollment" and "Lottery?"

A: Open Enrollment: If you submit an application during the open enrollment period (Aug 1 – Jan 15), your child will be eligible for school Lottery.

A: Lottery: If there are more submitted applications than there are spaces available for your child’s grade, the school will hold a Lottery.  Lotteries are generally held during the second Monday of April. You do not need to attend the Lottery Event for your child to be selected. Students who are selected in the Lottery will be offered a space. After all spaces have been offered, the remaining students not selected will be placed on a waitlist. Waitlisted students will receive offers as spaces become available.

Q: Is there a tuition fee?

A: No, Ingenium Schools are free, public schools!

Q: Does my child have to take a test or prove they have good grades to enroll?

A: No, all students are welcome!

Q: Does my child have to live within a certain distance of the school?

A: No, all students are welcome!

Q: Do you accept students with IEPs or special educational needs?

A: Yes, all students are welcome!

Q: Do your schools offer transportation?

A: No, parents/guardians must transport their child to and from school daily.

Q: What grade levels do your schools offer?

A: We offer Transitional Kindergarten to 8th grade. Click here to see a list of our schools and which grades they serve.

Q: How old does my child have to be to start Kindergarten?

A: By State law, students must turn 5 years of age by September 1, 2016 to enroll in Kindergarten.

Q: How old does my child have to be to start Transitional Kindergarten?

A: By State law, students must turn 5 years of age between September 2, 2016 and December 2, 2016 to enroll in Transitional Kindergarten.

Q: What is Transitional Kindergarten?

A: Transitional Kindergarten, often referred to as TK, is an educational opportunity for children who turn five years of age between September 2, 2016 and December 2, 2016. For more information about Transitional Kindergarten, click here.

Q: Can I enroll my child once they turn 5 years old?

A: Students turning 5 years old after December 2, must wait until the following academic year to enroll.

Q: Are your Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs a full day?

A: Yes, Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten are full day programs.

Q: Do your schools offer a before-school program or after-school program?

A: Our schools offer a free after-school program on a first-come, first-served basis.

Q: Does your school provide breakfast and lunch?

A: Yes, we provide free breakfast and lunch for all of our students.

Q: What documents are needed at the time of enrollment?

A: You do not need any documents to submit a lottery form, however, once your child has been offered enrollment, you will need to submit the child’s birth certificate, current immunization record, most recent report card, and, if applicable, current IEP.

Q: Is there a uniform policy?

A: Yes, our students wear polo shirts and tan/khaki or navy blue bottoms depending on the school.

Q: Where can I purchase the school uniforms?

A: Polo shirts can be purchased in our school offices. Tan/khaki or navy blue bottoms can be purchased at most local retailers, including Target, Walmart, Kohl’s, and Costco. Additional information is available in the Parent-Student Handbook provided to all families during orientation.
