Frequently Asked Questions

At this time, the vaccine requirement does not apply to students under the age of 12. However, for students about to turn 12 or who turn 12 during the school year, they will be required to become vaccinated within 30 days of their 12th birthday.

You can submit proof of your student’s vaccination by uploading it to the form in ParentSquare, delivering a copy to your school, or emailing it to our COVID-19 support desk.

The COVID-19 vaccine is available to all at no cost, regardless of insurance or immigration status.

“Fully-vaccinated” refers to an individual who has received the first and second doses of the vaccine (or, in the case of Johnson & Johnson, the single required dose) and has completed the two-week period that follows to ensure maximum immunity.

Beginning Monday, January 10, 2022, eligible students who do not have proof of vaccination against COVID-19 will not be permitted on school campuses and referred to our short-term independent study program unless an exemption or conditional admissions apply. Families will receive regular reminders to get their vaccines and submit or upload vaccination information.

All eligible students must be fully vaccinated by January 10th, 2022. Eligible students who do not submit proof of being fully vaccinated will not be permitted on any Ingenium Schools campus until they have done so.

Unvaccinated students can visit a wide variety of locations and providers to become vaccinated. Vaccination clinics are offered by local cities, Los Angeles County, Federal Health Clinics, family pediatricians, local pharmacies (Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens, etc.) and many other healthcare providers. You can find LA County clinics by visiting: http://publichealth.lacounty.gov/acd/ncorona2019/vaccine/hcwsignup/.

All staff and eligible students will be required to be fully vaccinated, excluding those with medical conditions and who have received a medical exemption from their doctor.
